The Bristol Stool Formation Scale

I just love this. It sounds like a Formation Dance Groups, music sheet.
It reads;

Type 1 Separate hard lumps like nuts (Hard to pass) (Hell!)

Type 2 Sausage shape a bit lumpy

Type 3 Like a sausage but with cracks on the surface (Ive gone off bangers!)

Type 4 Like a sausage or snake, smooth and soft

Type 5 Soft blobs with clear-cut edges (Passed easily)

Type 6 Fluffy pieces with ragged edges, a mussy stool

Type 7 Watery, no solid pieces ENTIRELY LIQUID

Who was the poor bugger who was given this task of cataloguing this in the first place, he deserves a medal.

16 June Killing time

Total log 205
0600 Awake, best nights sleep so far! Typical...
0800 Cleaned boat, very hot. Final pics on boat.
0830 Waiting in restaurant for coffee then breakfast. Waiter confused by girls ordering meals not on the menu and talking all at the same time. Need to sort out transport to airport.
1100 Arrived in Primosten to kill time until flight. Girls shopping, boys sitting on sea wall.
1200 Returned to bar of last night to meet girls. Mary and Chris shopping. Very hot!
1300 Stopped walking at a windward restaurant. Somehow ordered Beefburger and chips then got involved in a bidding war which culminated in all having thick tomato soup... How! I don't like beefburgers! Roger informs us that he does like Gordon Brown for the third time.
1400 Picked up by Marina bus. Showered and watched new people take over Draco. The weather in UK is damp.
1800 Journey, check in was accomplished in 30 minutes. Flight was on time. Too good to last! Waited on runway for 90 minutes for incoming aircraft, which was in trouble to land. Then had to refuel and recalculate take off data as there had been a wind shift. This delay will probably cause problems at Bristol International Airport, but I have every faith that their crack team will slickly roll into action and we will be diverted to Cardiff!!!Wonder if Elaine's Paracetamol have kicked in.

Home safe and sound 2330. Great holiday.

5 June Magrovica on Dugi Ortoc

Log 551
Awake not a good nights sleep.
0815 The whole mood of the day seems to be set by the quality and consistency of the morning bowel movement. It dominates the morning exchanges. For Example; Elaine appeared beaming from the heads announcing to the world that she had just launched a Bristol No 4, her first firm stool for 2 years. Christ, can you imagine the size of the thing! the coastguards had better put out an all ships warning.
0830 RR rowed over too embarrassed to ask a question re his rowlocks over the RT Told him we only specialise in circumcision on this boat.
0915 Briefing over the RT.

Girls got lift back and I rowed Mike.

3 June Zlarin

Log 512 miles
Chris has been ill with the squits all night and looks rough. Is this the shape of things to come. Talking of shapes - Elaine told me about The Bristol Stool Firmness Chart. This rates stools from one to six, four being the perfect stool whereas one is like goats droppings and six is like the River of Babylon.
Met Alan and Anna on "Vega" she is Polish and he is Irish, interesting combination.
Briefing and all the doos and donts spelled out by Jay. Girls go shopping for essentials and Mike hosts boat familiarisation on "Draco".
Breakfast of Am n Negs then at 1130 off we go to Zlarin. Weather overcast but warm

Went for walkabout in the narrow streets before punch party. Punch party under the mulberry trees, met rest of flotilla but cannot remember anyone's name. No alcohol for me.
Following meal back to Pegasus for party, 13 people on Pegasus then invaded by two Germans, one carrying a pepper pot and Snapps, not to be sneezed at!
Snap Crackle and Pop monsters under our boat, what is that? Slept till 0500.

2 June The Off

Departure day and all assembling at Elaine and Mikes for pre holiday libation. Mike checking luggage with spring gauge. Mary worried about weight rings BRISTOL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT to check weight allowance. Starts distributing various bits to others luggage.
Taxi to BIA in plenty of time. BIA lives up to its reputation and we use half the holiday checking in. Flight 2 3/4 hours went well and rep was at airport to meet us. 40 minute drive to Primosten to meet lead crew. James the skipper looks like Joe E Brown, Bev the hostee looks like Queen Victoria and James the engineer looks irresponsible!
We are allocated 'Pegasus' and Rog Rog 'Draco'. Swopped with RR as he had worked on the Pegasus engine for many years. This caused some confusion in the week. There are 11 boats in the flotilla. The 37 footers are new and a pleasure to board. Mary, Mike and Elaine unpack. Elaine complaining that there were not enough coat hangers. It was pointed out that "THIS A BOAT ELAINE,NOT A BLOODY HOTEL!"
Meal in the Marina, no beer for me.
